I can appreciate the photo BUT I still hate HDR photography. Too much manipulation for my taste. When a digital photograph begins to look like an oil painting? That’s a fail.
The senior citizen trapped in my body decided to start knitting a blanket yesterday. She loves this soft organic wool so much, she might just add sleeves and make it a snuggie. SERIOUSLY.
DEAL ALERT: Today only at Target, these Mossimo Crewneck Ultrasoft (seriously, you’ll want to curl up and sleep with it) Sweaters: $8.99
I picked up two this morning: a slate brown/grayish one and cream. SO SOFT. $8.99!
Getting up at 6:27AM on a Saturday…
since you cannot sleep because you’re in bed mentally writing a research paper.
Forget shopping, I’m off to see Precious/grab coffee/write a research paper.
Toodles!
I have lost control of my hair today.
In the summer, I passed it off as sexy beach waves. I’m not sure that’s going to fly for Winter 09’.
Macy’s Parade 2007.
Macy’s Parade 2007.
Let’s relive some of my Macy’s Parade 2007 photos. I’m off to brunch with my sister but I’ll queue them up. Enjoy!
I don’t celebrate strictly American holidays but I figured it would be nice to reflect on things I’m thankful for. Not to be dramatic (what, me?) but 2009 has not been my year. I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit angry and bitter every day with the following events:
However, I am thankful for:
Is life perfect? No. Am I still a work in progress, overcoming recession set backs? Yes. But overall, I know I should be thankful. So that I am. Life is not always as melodramatic as you make it.
Happy Thanksgiving to my Thanksgiving-celebrating readers. I do like pumpkin pie, so save me a slice. Thanks. :)
Today’s library findings. I’ve always wondered what librarians think of you based on your books…I’d call today’s collection: 20-something who cannot style herself.

Damn.
I know I constantly reblog things about this couple/family, but I can’t help it. First family or not, what amazing role models. And I can only hope that one day I’m one half of a couple that looks at each other with this look in their eyes.
Love them.
yeah…that’s me today.
It’s one of those days. I chalk it up to being a pseudo-Friday. I had an outfit issue this morning so I turned a too-short dress into a shirt, threw on black skinny jeans, motorcycle riding boots, costume jewelry and a big ass scarf. I look like a damn fool wearing everything in her closet…and I don’t care. :)
